First time at CTT Expo: ROSTSELMASH

Sigma Expo Group team visited the Rostselmash company to get acquainted with this truly legendary company, which has been the flagship of agricultural machinery production for 95 years. But our task was not only to see such a powerful enterprise, but also to learn about new directions of its activities, because next year Rostselmash will become a participant in the CTT Expo for the first time.
Rostselmash announced (in 2021) its plans to develop the production of road construction machines, as well as to expand tractor production. The production of equipment will be carried out at a new tractor plant, which is currently in the final stage of construction.
The new plant is located on 14 hectares of land: it includes a production building with a total area of 62 thousand square meters. m, an experimental workshop, as well as buildings for commercial and engineering services. The enterprise's capacity will be 5 thousand units of equipment per year. 1,850 people will work here.
It is here that 4 types of construction equipment will be produced, including:
– crawler excavators;
– front loaders;
– backhoe loaders;
– telescopic loaders.
So, we are waiting for the replenishment of domestic construction equipment. More than 60 people are involved in its development, who are allocated to a separate division.
Several models will be produced for each type of equipment. The design initially includes unification with manufactured machines at the level of components and style solutions. The new equipment will use our own developments in the field of telemetry, remote monitoring and control, which have been developed in tractors and combines.
