CTT Expo 2023 – a new record achieved

The 23^rd International Trade Fair for Construction Equipment and Technologies CTT Expo surpassed all expectations and goals set by the organiser for the first time in terms of the number of exhibitors, vehicles and equipment presented, as well as show space size.

Among the participants: ACE, BULL, ELKON, MEKA, MST, LGCE, LGMG, LIUGONG, SANY, SHACMAN, SHANTUI, SITRAK, XCMG, ZOOMLION, Amkodor, Chetra, KAMAZ, Kraneks, Kudesnik, NFLG, NLMK, OMG SDM, PST, Putzmeister-Rus, Rusbusinessavto, SCHWING-STETTER, Techstroykontact, Transmechservice, Zyptech and many others.

The largest companies will present newest machinery, equipment and technologies for road construction, mining, as well as for civil and special construction.

The partner of the exhibition is XCMG company; their exposition is the largest at CTT Expo 2023 and will include more than 30 units of various equipment and machines. It will highlight a number of new products: a full line of cranes, self-propelled lifts, a line of road building machines, excavators and loaders. For the first time in recent years, a tower crane will be present at the exhibition. 

LIUGONG Company will demonstrate an extensive model line from an off-road dump truck and a tracked bulldozer to an asphalt paver and a mobile 3-axle-crane.

SANY company has prepared a wide range of road and special equipment, including dump trucks, tractors, pumps, crawler cranes, as well as hydraulic hammers, hydraulic pumps, engines, filters and crowns.

The Techservice company will present the flagship line of BEEZONE road construction equipment; the Stroydormash company will present a line of drilling machines. At the outdoor exhibition, Toyota Tsusho Tekhnika, the exclusive distributor of LISHIDE in Russia, will demonstrate a wide range of premium-class equipment, including a 21.9-ton crawler excavator, a backhoe loader, an excavator bucket, as well as a wheel loader.

Quarry Club company will present a tracked jaw and cone crusher. Merkator Holding company will present two autonomous snowplows.

An important focus of this year will be the largest exhibition synergy of the year: presenting the market with a whole range of three mutually complementary and intersecting industries – construction machinery, commercial transport and after-sales service. Each of them will be represented by separate show: CTT Expo, COMvex and CTO Expo, which will solve multi-purpose business tasks and significantly save time and costs for both participants and visitors.

The exposition of the exhibitions will be presented in halls 13, 14, 15 of Pavilion No. 3, which has been increased several times compared to last year, each hall is 100% booked, as well as the Crocus Expo outdoor area in front of all three pavilions. The total area of all three projects will be more than 95,000 sq.m.

The large exposition of the exhibitions will be presented by more than 1100 exhibitors from 14 countries: Russia, Belarus, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, South Korea, Türkiye, UAE.

The national pavilions of China and Türkiye will be presented on an area of more than 6,000 sq.m.

The qualitative and quantitative representation of the exhibitors continues to attract increased interest from the professional audience, as evidenced by a double increase in the dynamics of online visitor registration for the CTT Expo 2023 exhibition compared to last year.

The CTT FORUM business platform is traditionally built according to thematic days:

 May 23 – Road and Transport Construction Day;

The business program of the exhibition will be opened by the traditional session of the ID-marketing Research Company with the participation of leading manufacturers of construction equipment. The theme of this year's opening session is "Challenge accepted: how the market of special equipment has changed under sanctions conditions."

The actual problems of integration of large businesses and SMBs - subjects under the conditions of sanctions will be discussed at a round table organised by the Russian public association "OPORA RUSSIA", the plant of road equipment "Region 45".

The Concrete Road Association, Soyuzdorstroy and Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State MADI will hold a scientific and practical conference on the topic: "Equipment and technologies for the construction of high-quality and safe highways".

 May 24 – Mining Industry Day;

A special emphasis will be placed on the CTT MINING section, to which the interest of the exhibition audience is growing every year. Within the framework of the Mining Industry Day there will be held the 3rd international conference "Future of Mining”, organised by Academy of Mining Sciences and Mining Industry Journal.

The general partner of the day is ERT-group, the partner of the business program is IMC Montan. The event will be held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Mining Council of Russia.

This year, the Mining Industry Day will be held with the support of the Non-profit Partnership for Mining Industries of Russia. "We are glad that the issues of consolidation of mining industries have been reflected in the business program of one of the largest industry exhibitions in Russia. We are waiting for an amazing exposition of equipment at the Crocus Expo. The whole day on May 24 will be devoted to complex issues of coal mining, standardization of the extractive industry and answers to the challenges of import substitution" - Anatoly Nikitin, Executive Director of Non-Profit Partnership for Mining Industries of Russia.

In addition to the business program, participants and guests of the event will be able to visit a special CTT MINING exposition, which will be presented opposite the CTT FORUM business platform in Hall 13, Pavilion 3. Mining equipment can also be seen at the stands of the companies Quarry Club, Quarry Equipment, Rusbusinessavto, ERT-group, Lonmadi, NFLG, Chetra.

On the same day, the International Association of Foundation Contractor (IAFC) will consider issues of modern technologies, special equipment, and materials in the conference hall of the Aquarium Hotel, which is located close to the exhibition halls.

May 25 - day of rental, leasing and insurance of special equipment;

National Association of Construction Machinery Lessors (NAAST) will discuss the prospects of the Russian construction equipment rental market under the conditions of sanctions pressure.

The official Partner of the CTT Expo – Transneft will touch upon the principles of procurement of automotive, road construction equipment and spare parts.

May 26 - day of demolition technologies.

National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) will finish the business part of the CTT Expo exhibition with a discussion of problems and solutions for the supply of machinery, equipment, spare parts for dismantling work under sanctions.

All events of the CTT Forum business platform will be held in Hall 13 of Pavilion 3.

Award "Construction Equipment Innovations in Russia" as the results of the achievements of the industry

The 5th award ceremony for the winners of the Contest "Construction Equipment Innovations in Russia" will take place on May 24 as part of the evening gala event. The best representatives in their category will be named based on the opinion of the members of the independent jury, as well as the by online voting of market experts. 75 applications were submitted for participation in the Contest, which is a record number for all years of the Contest.
