CTT Expo 2022 exceeded all expectations

The leading show for the construction industry in Russia and CIS – CTT Expo 2022 concluded in
Moscow at Crocus Expo last week of May 2022 with success and record numbers. The event will
be remembered for active sales by exhibitors, excitement among visitors and huge interest in the
business program.
Facts and figures
A total of 288 companies from 7 countries joined CTT Expo 2022: 243 companies from Russia
and CIS together with 45 international ones from China, Italy, Kazakhstan, Singapore and Turkey.
Two national pavilions – from China and Turkey, two focus zones – Telematic Area and CTT
Trenchless were highlights of the show.
Turkey national pavilion, organised by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, was represented by a
record number of exhibitors – 26 companies – the most numerous for the last 7 years.
37.000 m2 – the total exposition area increased by 6% compared to the previous year. The top 10
companies in terms of booth space and the number of presented construction vehicles include
HOWO, JAC, LIUGONG, MAZ, RUSBUSINESSAVTO/SDLG, SANY, SHANTUI,
TRACRESOURCE-REGION/LONKING, XCMG, ZOOMLION HEAVY INDUSTRY RUS. LIUGONG
and XCMG attracted special attention with their largest booths at the show: 1.500 m 2 each.
Visitors
With over 24.500 visitors from more than 80 regions of Russia and 30 countries, CTT Expo 2022
achieved the record result for the last 5 years. The largest number of professionals arrived from
Moscow and the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, Republic of Tatarstan as well as Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl and Ivanovo regions. Most international visitors represented Armenia, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Italy, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
The exhibition was attended by professionals from various sectors: construction, road and
infrastructure building, mining as well as transport hubs. Over 30 official delegations from Federal
Ministries and Regional Departments of Russian Federation and CIS enjoyed special attention
during the tours around the trade fair holding meetings with key exhibitors.
Exhibitor feedback clearly confirmed the quality of visitors, which exceeded all expectations. 92%
of exhibitors assessed CTT Expo 2022 as “excellent”, “very good” and “good”. 89% of exhibitors
believe that CTT Expo offers unique benefits for their future business in Russia and CIS.
97% of visitors consider the event to have competitive advantage for their business compared to
other trade fairs in Russia. 96% of visitors plan to be at the show next year and recommend CTT
Expo to business partners or colleagues.
Business program
CTT Forum – the central business program platform – received a great response from partners,
associations and opinion leaders. Professionals could find here answers to trending questions and
exchange their ideas and vision on the current situation in the industry. Speakers enjoyed attention
from more than 1.200 participants.
The program was supported by traditional and new partners: leading specialised associations and
organisations in the construction industry. Each show day was devoted to a different business
program focus: road construction and construction transport; mining industry; rental, leasing and
insurance; demolition technologies and environment; CTT Campus – students’ welcome day.
CTT Forum business program included key industry topics such as:
• Transformation of the construction equipment market of Russia.
• Innovative developments as key prerequisite for import substitution.
• Road Construction: new equipment and innovative technologies.
• Digital systems in mining production management.
• Innovation in the mining industry.

Award ceremony “Construction equipment innovations in Russia”
May 25 th was highlighted by the “Construction equipment innovations in Russia” award ceremony.
For the first time in its history the winners were chosen not only by the prominent jury but also
through online voting. More than 650 professionals voted for their favorites.
