СТТ Expo 2026: results of the main meeting of the entire construction industry

CTT Expo 2026, the main trade fair for construction equipment and technologies, was held at the Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow from May 26 to May 29.

In the context of turbulence in the industry, the importance of CTT Expo has especially increased. This year, the exhibition once again confirmed its status as a key platform where the market not only presents new products, but, most importantly, gathers for a direct open dialogue.

"The results of CTT Expo confirmed that the construction industry continues to develop, adapts to new conditions and actively build partnerships. The exhibition has become a platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience and search for sustainable solutions, combining market demands, manufacturers' capabilities and innovative developments. CTT Expo visually showed the dynamics, strength and potential of the industry, and also outlined the guidelines for its further development," said Anna Shorina, Director of CTT Expo.

The exhibition was held with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Figures, that speak for themselves

At the exposition with an area of 102 037 m², 716 companies from 7 countries presented a rich exposition. 82% of exhibitors positively evaluated their participation in the exhibition, and 88% гare ready to recommend it to their partners and colleagues.

Companies demonstrated  the full range on construction, road and quarry equipment, lifting and transport equipment, spare parts, service and digital solutions.

”It is important for us to participate, because every year the company has interesting technical solutions that we want to present to the market. Historically, it is right here, where a large number of customers from different industries gather, and we can tell them about the development of our company”, — pointed out Maxim Ivanita, LOVOL.

During the four days of CTT Expo, 51 491 professional visitors from 39 countries and 89 regions of Russia visited CTT Expo, which confirmed the status of the main meeting place for the industry audience.

At the exhibition, there is an opportunity to communicate with almost all market participants without spending a huge amount of resources on trips and business trips. In fact, participation in the exhibition saves at least half year of work”, — said Vyacheslav Lyadov, SANY RUSSIA.

The most numerous foreign delegations came from China, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. The top visitors from Russia are headed by Moscow and the Moscow Region (32 691 people), St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region (2 613 people), the Republic of Tatarstan (1 274 people), the Nizhny Novgorod and Sverdlovsk Regions (1 022 and 1 013 people, respectively). Such a geography of participation clearly demonstrates the federal scale of the event and emphasizes its role in the formation of the industry.

The geography of customers is very wide. If we talk about Russia, these are the regions from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Customers also come from all over the post-Soviet space, including from the CIS countries. Potential partners from Asia are showing great interest”, —  said Alexander Korzanov, Professional LLC.

One of the key goals of visiting CTT Expo is to search for information about the state of the market, technological trends and industry innovations - 47% (24 002 people). Another 43% (22 310 people) came to search for new suppliers and business partners.

Today is only the first day of the exhibition, but there were already more than 200 customers at our booth. We hope to overfulfill the plan,” underlined  Alina Sluzhaeva, NPO GKMP LLC.

The practical significance of the exhibition is also confirmed by the fact that 28% (14 619 people) of visitors plan to make purchases at the exhibition or as a result of it. This is influenced by the high quality of the audience: 67% (34 649 people) of visitors hold managerial positions, and 90% (46 355 people) participate in decision-making on the purchase of equipment.

People who are responsible for business come to the exhibition. This is not an event for a random audience, but a professional platform for those who work with construction machinery and make decisions,” said Andrey Golubev, Tekhstroykontrakt company.

92% of EXPO+ exhibitions visitors noted the high importance of combining related areas at one site. The exposition and solutions presented at CTT Expo aroused high interest among visitors to the synergy of exhibitions: 71% of the MINING CTT audience, 39% of COMvex and CTO Expo visitors, as well as 36% of Logistika Expo specialists were interested in them.

This format allows to see a complete image of market development, establish useful business contacts and assess the relationship between key areas of the industry.

"The format of "five exhibitions in one" is convenient because people come to our booth who otherwise might not have been there. Even if they are not a core audience, interest still arises," said Dmitry Marov, KEMZ JSC (High-Precision Complexes Holding of the Rostec State Corporation).

The event achieved impressive results: 65 457 specialists visited the exhibitions, 1 597 exhibitors from 9 countries presented their latest developments, equipment, technological solutions and special offers, the exposition occupied a large-scale area of 163 055 square meters, becoming one of the key platforms for demonstrating innovations, business communication and developing partnerships in the industry.

CTT Expo business program: current challenges and new opportunities

The business program brought together more than 1 000 listeners — experts, top managers of major corporations and representatives of relevant departments — in four days of work, becoming one of the central industry platforms for discussing digital transformation, technological sovereignty and new development scenarios in the current economic realities.

The opening plenary session "Effective management of the market of self-propelled machines: safety, transactions" set the vector for the entire program. Experts discussed measures to "whitewash" the market, automation of registration and the transition to electronic transactions.

"Within the session, together with my colleagues we talked about important changes that many people are not yet aware of: what will happen in the near future, what changes are expected in the legislation, including in terms of regulating self-propelled machines. It is very important to find out such things in advance," said Boris Ionov, Managing Director of the Electronic Passport System company.

"I believe that such platforms are extremely important, at least because in a dialogue we can develop approaches more quickly, timely convey to the market changes in rule-making and regulation, which will help business build and develop more confidently in the market of the Russian Federation," said Stanislav Chertoryzhsky, Deputy Head of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road Construction Machinery of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

The session "Scenarios for the development of the special equipment market" with the support of the Exkavator Ru portal and the research company ID-MARKETING was devoted to the current situation, key challenges and their solutions, as well as forecasting and scenarios for market development.

With the support of the R.O.S.ASPHALT and Digital Era of Transport associations, an expert session "Robotization is the future of road construction" was held, which brought together representatives of the Federal Road Agency and manufacturers to discuss the prospects for the introduction of domestic robotic equipment and personnel training.
Also, as part of the business program, the conference of the Association of Concrete Roads "Equipment and Technologies for the Construction of High-Quality and Safe Roads" was held, which brought together experts and manufacturers of the road industry to discuss modern solutions in the construction and development of infrastructure.

The annual event of the program is a conference from NAAST, dedicated to the current state, key trends and prospects for the development of the construction equipment rental market in Russia. The participants discussed the state of the construction machinery and equipment rental market, the impact of crisis factors, the results of the industry's development in 2025 and forecasts until 2030. The focus was on crisis management, interaction with lessors, protection of rights in the leasing of special equipment and personnel challenges. The program ended with a networking session to exchange views and discuss current market issues.

"The main value of such events is communication. Colleagues from different cities gather, discuss problems, exchange views and stay abreast of what is happening in the industry," outlined Valery Klimenko, President of NAAST.
A separate thematic track of the business program was the Mining Industry Day, which was held as part of the related MINING CTT exhibition. In the panel discussion "Technological Independence of the Russian Mining Industry", representatives of PJSC Polyus, ALROSA, Norilsk Nickel and RMK discussed the replacement of departed foreign manufacturers. Specialists from KAMAZ PJSC, CHETRA, BELAZ and other companies presented roadmaps for the development of serial production of mining dump trucks, drilling equipment and robotic systems.

Another session on mining topics was devoted to interaction with foreign partners: experts from Mongolia, China and Russia discussed equipment supplies, experience in operating equipment and prospects for innovative lubricants. A separate discussion brought together engineering software developers and AI specialists to discuss digital twins of mines and predictive analytics systems in the field of industrial safety.

As part of the business program, the 30th anniversary of ROSMA Association was celebrated. This year, the association took an active part and held a seminar "Safety of lifting equipment. Experience, prospects, innovations", and also organized the work of the consulting center "Lifting Equipment" at the exhibition site, where profile specialists advised visitors on the issues of standardization, certification and industrial safety of lifting machines.
